# Subscription Plans

> CVAT Cloud subscription tiers and self-hosted enterprise features

CVAT offers flexible subscription plans for cloud users and enterprise support for self-hosted deployments.

## CVAT Cloud Plans

### Free Plan

The Free plan lets you get started with CVAT at no cost:

**Limitations**:

* Maximum 10 tasks
* Maximum 500 MB of data storage
* Personal workspace only (limited organization features)
* No auto-annotation integrations
* Community support only

**Best for**:

* Individual users
* Small projects
* Evaluating CVAT
* Learning annotation workflows

  You can create up to 10 tasks and upload up to 500MB of data. Resources are only visible to you or people you assign to them.

### Solo Plan

**Pricing**: Fixed monthly or annual rate (see [pricing page](https://www.cvat.ai/pricing/cloud))

  The Solo plan is designed **for personal use only**, not for team collaboration.
</Warning>

**Features**:

* Unlimited tasks
* Unlimited storage
* Auto-annotation capabilities
* Roboflow integration
* HuggingFace integration
* Priority email support

**Limitations**:

* Single user (no team collaboration)
* Can create an organization with up to 2 members for trial purposes only
* Organization members will have Free plan limitations
* Not suitable for commercial use within organizations

**Best for**:

* Freelance annotators
* Individual researchers
* Personal projects
* Solo data scientists

### Team Plan

**Pricing**: Per-member monthly or annual subscription (see [pricing page](https://www.cvat.ai/pricing/cloud))

* Unlimited tasks per organization
* Unlimited data storage

* Roboflow integration
* HuggingFace integration
* Priority support
* Shared resources and collaboration tools

**Pricing Model**:

* Pay per team member
* Organization owner counts as a team member
* Example: 2 annotators + 1 owner = 3 seats

**Prorated Billing**:

* Add members mid-cycle: Pay prorated amount for remaining period
* Remove members mid-cycle: Credit applied to next billing cycle

**Best for**:

* Annotation teams
* Companies
* Research groups
* Collaborative projects

### Annual Subscriptions

Both Solo and Team plans offer annual subscriptions:

**Benefits**:

* Save up to 30% compared to monthly billing
* Same features as monthly plans
* More predictable budgeting
* Available for new and existing subscribers

## Subscription Management

### Upgrading to Paid Plan

### Managing Your Subscription

Access subscription management:

* Click username > **Manage Plan**
* View billing history and invoices
* Update payment method
* Change member quantity (Team plan)
* Switch to annual billing
* Cancel subscription

  Subscriptions are managed through Stripe. You can update billing information, view invoices, and manage payment methods from the Stripe portal.
</Info>

### Multiple Subscriptions

You can maintain multiple active subscriptions:

* One Solo plan for personal work
* Multiple Team plans for different organizations
* Each subscription is billed independently

### Cancellation Policy

When you cancel a subscription:

**Immediate effects**:

* No new billing charges
* Access continues until current billing period ends

**After billing period**:

* Free plan limitations apply
* Existing data remains for 30 days
* Read-only mode for data exceeding Free plan limits
* Must remove excess data or it will be deleted automatically

  Export any important data before cancellation expires to avoid data loss.

### Refund Policy

To request a refund:

1. Cancel the subscription first
2. Contact [support@cvat.ai](mailto:support@cvat.ai)
3. Provide your invoice and account details
4. Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

## Self-Hosted Enterprise

For organizations that need to deploy CVAT on their own infrastructure:

## Billing and Invoices

### Payment Methods

**Supported payment methods**:

### Tax and VAT

<Tip>
  Add VAT/tax information **before** your first payment to ensure it appears on all invoices.
</Tip>

To add tax information:

1. During signup: Toggle "Include additional data on invoice"
2. After signup: Manage Plan > Update Information > Billing Information

### Invoice Access

1. Click username > **Manage Plan**
2. Scroll to **Invoice History** section
3. Click the invoice icon to view/download

Invoices are also automatically emailed to your account email.

### Enterprise Billing

For enterprise customers (\$10,000+ annual):

* Custom agreements available
* Purchase order (PO) numbers supported
* 30-day payment terms available
